Math

Math is one of my favourite lesson. Because math make us to think. I think math is a subject that use ‘ilmu pasti’. We can’t change the rule of math. For example: 1+1 is 2. In the grade x science, I had learnt about trigonometry further trigonometry and also matrices. Matrices was the easiest part and the hardest part was further trigonometry. In matrices we just have to know how to solve the matrix equation. We have to know which part is the row and column. And the hardest from matrices is the inverse of the matrix.

Trigonometry was about triangle and about sin, cos, tan. The sincostan is use for the triangle that have 90⁰ or we can also call it right triangle. And we also to know the sides of opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse. The formula for sin is SOH (Sin = opposite : Hypotenuse). For cos is CAH (Cos = Adjacent : Hypotenuse). While the Tan is TOA (Tan = opposite : Adjacent). So we can summaries that become Soh Cah Toa.

Further trigonometry was about bearing, the area of triangle that there is not clear information about the height and they just give the angles of 2 sides and 1 length of 1 side. There are so many formulas in this part. So I must memories its. That is why it’s the hardest part because the formulas.

Physics

            In this term I had learn about wave, light, and sound. There were 2 kind of wave. First was transverse wave and longitudinal wave. Transverse wave is like sea wave. And longitudinal wave is like ‘per’ or ‘pegas’. Wave has frequency, wave length, amplitude and speed of the wave.

            Light. In light part I had learn about incidence ray and refraction ray. The angle of incidence ray and refraction ray is different, because the densities of 2 medium. Air has lower densities than water. So when the light comes from the air and hit the water that has more particles the light will ‘berbelok’.

            And the last one is sound. I had learnt about kind of sound and how the sound travel to our ears. Kinds of sound are infrasonic, audio sonic, and ultrasonic. Humans can hear audio sonic. Because the frequency is not low and high. And how the sound travel to our ears? The sound travel to our ears by medium such as air, water, and solid. Solid is the medium that can travel the sound fastest than air and water, because solid has more particles.
